Native Portuguese-speaking editor, in-house
Universe Technical Translation, Inc. is looking for a native Portuguese-speaking editor (preferably familiar with both Brazilian and European/African variants) for an in-house position.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of technical translation editing/proofreading experience and at least 10 years of translation experience
- Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Geology Engineering or Technical Background is preferred
- At least 3 verifiable references for editing jobs of a technical nature
- Please briefly describe your editing/proofreading process flow
- At least 3 short samples of previous related editing projects or let us know if you are willing to take a 300 word editing test
Candidates located in Houston, TX will be considered first.
