Ethics in the Real World

August 22 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Ethics in the Real World

The codes of professional conduct in healthcare interpreting have been carefully created to provide guidance in the cases of interpreting dilemmas. Unfortunately, life doesn’t always look like Best Practices dictate that it should, and we don’t always do the right thing when interpersonal problems are at work or our careers are on the line.

This webinar intends to give you hands-on tools for addressing issues that come up while interpreting.
Codes of Ethics for healthcare interpreting will be carefully reviewed, and then we will brainstorm how to approach dilemmas differently in the future.

You will come away from this workshop with a better understanding of how to apply the Codes of Ethics in a way that makes practical sense.

Approved for 2 continuing education hours by CCHI, 0.2 continuing education units by IMIA/NBCMI, and 2 continuing education points by ATA.
